The human energy system is the fundamental system of energy within the human body and the environment surrounding it that supports and sustains human life.
The Human Energy System Alliance, or HESA Institute, is an alliance of scientists, philosophers, entrepreneurs, and spiritual leaders devoted to unlocking the potential of the human energy system and to developing technologies and products that transform human health and increase human flourishing.
Propositions
Through its various research initiatives, HESA explores the following propositions:
(1) that we are not simply material beings, but energetic beings, too, participating in an interconnected web of energetic exchange between all things,
(2) that the human energy system—and with it human health, nutrition, longevity, and wellbeing—can be evolved and fully actualized through innovation, creativity, and discipline of mind,
and (3) that consciousness is a dynamic and vital energetic force which animates all things and which can, once harnessed and focused properly, bring about significant changes in the fields of human and universal energy.
The results of HESA's inquiry into these propositions are being used to create revolutionary technologies and products—such as new healing therapies, enhanced foods, and methods for heightening cognitive capacities—that optimize the human energy system, redefine human potential in paradigm-shifting ways, and dramatically improve the quality of life for the entire human family.
Many scientists are making considerable progress in understanding consciousness and its influence on the human energy system, but most stop short at the frontier of the mystical, exceptional, and transcendent, unwilling to go further.
In addition to investigating the human energy system itself, and how consciousness affects it, HESA examines—through rational, secular, and scientific means—the numerous spiritual and alternative practices which have exhibited penetrating insight into this system, insight that challenges both common sense and commonly held conceptions of what is possible for human beings.
HESA takes full advantage of this insight, testing it rigorously and combining what is learned with both established and emerging knowledge in the sciences, to heal the divide between ancient spiritual wisdom and modern scientific theories of reality, and to better understand, in a holistic way, what it means to be inheritors of consciousness.
